Shawn Twigg

Shawn joined The Comprehensive Financial Group after recognizing and developing a passion for investments, retirement planning, and helping people with financial matters. He intends to focus his career on assisting clients with pursuing their financial goals, in ways that are important to them.

Before joining the financial services industry, Shawn worked for family businesses in the automotive, trucking, and excavating industries throughout northeast and central Pennsylvania, where he gained invaluable real-world business knowledge.

Shawn graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with banking and finance concentration. He also earned a minor in financial counseling and graduated with honors.

He currently holds Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses so he can assist clients with any insurance and annuity needs. He also holds Series 66 and Series 7 Securities registrations so he can offer a full range of financial planning services, retirement planning services, investments, variable annuities, and retirement plans for businesses.

In the spring each year, Shawn volunteers at The Pennsylvania College of Technology in their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) to help out in the community and give back to his alma mater. The VITA program allows students to complete tax returns, free of charge, for local individuals who meet certain eligibility criteria.

Fun fact: Shawn worked for a local land clearing and logging company while in college to finance his education.
